Title:
METAL PASTE HAVING EXCELLENT LOW-TEMPERATURE SINTERABILITY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE METAL PASTE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/033911
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a metal paste obtained by kneading a solvent and a solid component comprising silver particles, wherein: the solid component is constituted from silver particles that contain 30% or more, in terms of number of particles, of silver particles having particle diameters of 100-200 nm; the average particle diameter of the silver particles as a whole is 60-800 nm; the silver particles that constitute the solid component are bound to an amine compound having 4-8 carbon atoms in total as a protecting agent; and the metal paste contains a high molecular weight ethyl cellulose having a number average molecular weight of 40,000-90,000 as an additive. By incorporating the high molecular weight ethyl cellulose, it is possible to improve printability while maintaining a sintered body having low resistance. This metal paste exhibits good printability and can form a sintered body having low resistance even at a low temperature of 150°C or lower.
