METAL PIPE BENDING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METAL PIPE HAVING BENT PART

A processing device equipped with: a heating means that heats a metal pipe; a propulsion means that propels the metal pipe; a guide means that includes a clamp arm capable of rotating centered on a shaft support part while gripping the metal pipe, and that applies bending moment to the metal pipe by rotating the gripping point of the metal pipe around the shaft support part by means of this clamp arm, in conjunction with the propulsion of the metal pipe; and a bearing that rotatably supports the clamp arm in the shaft support part. The bearing includes one or more brake-equipped bearings, which are equipped with: an inner ring and an outer ring arranged coaxially; a support body interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring so as to enable the inner ring and the outer ring to rotate relative to one another; and a brake means that makes contact with the inner ring or the outer ring and prevents the relative rotation of the inner ring and the outer ring by means of frictional force. Compressive force is applied to the metal pipe during the bending of the metal pipe by restricting the rotation of the clamp arm by means of the brake means.
