Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for depositing a film of layered double hydroxide powder of various compositions and metal hydroxides on a metal plate to be processed in a short processing time of one to several tens of minutes. [Solution] The present invention has: steps (S100, S102) of adding metal ions to a water-containing electrolytic solution 16 and dispersing layered double hydroxide powder in the electrolytic solution 16; a step (S104) of immersing an electrode substrate 12 in a suspension comprising the electrolytic solution 16 and the layered double hydroxide powder 40; and steps (S106, S108) of electrodepositing the metal ions in the form of hydroxides together with the layered double hydroxide powder 40 on the electrode substrate 12 by applying an electric field between the electrode substrate 12 and a counter electrode plate. Here, the electrode substrate 12 is a metal plate subject to covering processing.
