Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of lowering a resistance value and a TCR. In a metal plate resistor (10) according to the present disclosure, a pair of recesses (12) are formed at both ends of one surface (11a) of a resistive body (11). A pair of electrodes (13a, 13b) are at least partially embedded in the pair of recesses (12), respectively, and are formed of metal having specific resistance lower than that of the resistive body (11). A protective film (14) is formed between the pair of electrodes (13a, 13b) on the one surface (11a) of the resistive body (11). Each of the pair of electrodes (13a, 13b) includes a first portion (15) and a second portion (16). The first portion (15) is projected from the one surface (11a) of the resistive body (11) so as to be in contact with an end (14a) of the protective film (14). The second portion (16) is provided in the corresponding recess (12) between the pair of recesses (12). In a direction in which the pair of electrodes (13a, 13b) are arranged, the length of the second portion (16) is longer than the length of the first portion (15).
