Abstract:
A metal ring forging apparatus, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is for machining a metal ring, which has a first outer diameter and a hollow portion, such that the metal ring has a second outer diameter that is larger than the first outer diameter, and can comprise: a bed unit having a base part disposed to be parallel to the ground at a predetermined height; a loading unit for moving the position of the metal ring from a standby position, which is at the outer side of the bed unit, to a machining position, which is at the upper side of the bed unit; a forming roll unit formed at the upper side of the machining position and rotated in a first direction, and reciprocating between a first position at which the forming roll unit is disposed to be spaced from the metal ring positioned at the machining position and a second position at which the forming roll unit comes in contact with at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the metal ring; a mandrel unit formed between the bed unit and the forming roll unit, and supporting the metal ring while inserted into the hollow portion of the metal ring when the metal ring is positioned at the machining position; and a support roll unit formed between the bed unit and the mandrel unit, and defining the limit of the outer diameter of the metal ring according to machining using the forming roll unit and the mandrel unit.
