Abstract:
Disclosed is a metal strip feeding device which solves a problem of a conventional metal strip feeding device wherein small-width metal strips are apt to be twisted or the like when the feeding device feeds into a cutter a large-width metal strip wherein a plurality of through holes are bored at predetermined intervals in the length direction and in the width direction, cuts off the large-width metal strip between the through holes in the length direction, and pulls out from within the cutter the small-width metal strips wherein the through holes are bored along only the length direction.
The disclosed metal strip feeding device feeds into a cutter (14) a large-width metal strip wherein a plurality of through holes are bored at predetermined intervals in the length direction and in the width direction, cuts off the large-width metal strip between the through holes in the length direction, and pulls out from within the cutter (14) the small-width metal strips wherein the through holes are bored along only the length direction. The feeding device is provided with: a feeding-in device (16) which is provided on the entrance side of the cutter (14) and feeds the large-width metal strip into the cutter; and a pulling-out device (18) which is provided on the exit side of the cutter (14) and pulls out from within the cutter (14) the small-width metal strips cut off by the cutter (14). In order to pull out the small-width metal strips from within the cutter (14) simultaneously with the feeding of the large-width metal strip into the cutter (14), the feeding device is provided with a coupling plate (32) as an interlocking member to drive the feeding-in device (16) and the pulling-out device (18) simultaneously.
