Abstract:
The present application provides a method for reducing fouling, including particulate-induced fouling, in a hydrocarbon refining process including the steps of providing a crude hydrocarbon for a refining process; adding an additive selected from: (I), (II) and (III),wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are independently selected from a branched or straight- chained C5-C8O alkyl group, and M1, M2, and M3 are independently selected from Ca, Mg and Na.
