Abstract:
The present invention provides: a novel metal surface treatment agent that is capable of forming a highly corrosion-resistant surface treatment film at or on the surface of a metal material; a metal material having a surface treatment film formed using said metal surface treatment agent; and a method for manufacturing such a metal material. The present invention pertains to: a metal surface treatment agent that comprises iron, an amino-group-containing compound (excluding ones containing a carboxy group), and a linear carbon chain compound having three or more hydroxyl groups bonded thereto; a metal material having a surface treatment film formed using said metal surface treatment agent; and a method for manufacturing same.
