Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a metal surface treatment agent that is capable of imparting excellent corrosion resistance to metal materials having a variety of metal surface properties or to metal structures including processed parts such as edges and welded portions, and that does not contain any substances harmful to the environment. [Solution] A metal surface treatment agent having a pH of 2-7 and that is obtained by adding, as a metal element, at least one type of a metal compound (A) selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ti, Hf, and Bi, and a polyhydric phenol compound (B) having a specific structure.
