Abstract:
The present invention provides a metallic coating composition having exceptional light resistance as a coating film with no color blurring or irregular reflection of the coating film, it being possible to use the metallic coating composition in a simplified coating method with no unevenness of the coating film surface while maintaining brilliance equivalent to that of a metallic coating film obtained by the conventional 3C3B coating method. Specifically, provided is a metallic coating composition including (1) a scaly brilliant pigment, (2) a resin having a weight-average molecular weight of 40,000-60,000 and a glass transition point (Tg) of -25 to 40°C, and (3) a solvent.
