Abstract:

The invention relates to a metallic composite material for a sliding bearing (2) with a metallic support layer (4), in particular steel, and a bearing metal layer (6) based on copper-tin with 2-6 wt.% tin. According to the invention, said bearing metal layer (6) comprises 0.2 - 2 wt.% nickel. The invention also relates to a sliding bearing element which is to be used in or close to the motor, produced from said type of sliding bearing composite material (2).
