Abstract:
Provided are: a metallic material having excellent corrosion resistance to molten zinc; and a member having corrosion resistance to molten zinc, which is produced using the metallic material. A metallic glass having corrosion resistance to molten zinc according to the present invention has a composition represented by formula (1) and is characterized in that the supercooled liquid temperature region (ΔTx) is 30˚C or higher and the glass transition temperature (Tg) is higher by 20˚C or more than the temperature of molten zinc.

(In the formula, TM represents at least one element selected from Mo, Ta, V and Nb; a is 2-20 at.%; b is 0-15 at.%; c is 20-30 at.%; and Fe is 35-55 at.%.)
