Abstract:
A metallic iron production method, adding a block containing an iron oxide compound (200) and a carbon-containing reducing material (300) into a reduction furnace (100), using a reduction furnace external heating mode, causing the iron oxide compound to achieve reduction and melting in air-free conditions, cooling the molten metallic iron, and recovering the cooled metallic iron.
