Abstract:
A metallic mold for injection molding is provided with a first mold plate (10) and a second mold plate (20) which are arranged so as to face each other, and a cavity (30) and a gate (32) which connects to the cavity are defined between the first mold plate and the second mold plate. The first mold plate has a first cavity surface (11) for molding the front surface (201) of a resin molded product (200), and the second mold plate has a second cavity surface (21) for molding the rear surface (202) of the resin molded product. The second cavity surface has a wall section (22) protruding to the cavity side and located close to the gate. The length (Lw) of the wall section measured in the first direction (D1) parallel to the direction of the width of the gate is greater than the width (Wg) of the gate and is less than the length (Lc) of the second cavity surface measured in the first direction. The configuration can reduce suction occurring when a resin molded product is manufactured by injection molding.
