Title:
METALLIC PALLET HAVING IMPROVED ECONOMY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/069864
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a metallic pallet having improved economy. According to the present invention, a spacer is configured to have a core insertion member having excellent mechanical strength and uses an environmentally-friendly bamboo laminated timber or the like as a core, and thus, the pallet can have sufficient strength while the consumption of metallic raw materials such as aluminum can be significantly reduced for lower costs, and costs can be significantly reduced during the processing and assembly stages. Accordingly, the pallet, which has a number of advantages such as being light-weight, water-proof, insect-proof, preventing pollution, and being flame retardant, can be widely used with little economic burden, and the product quality of the metallic pallet can be significantly improved by increasing mechanical strength. The present invention includes: a plurality of spacers providing a transporting fork insertion space and supporting an upper plate member, wherein the spacers are made of a metallic material such as aluminum; and a plurality of upper plate members positioned on the upper surfaces of the spacers and made of a metallic material such as aluminum. The spacer has a core insertion member in which a core, which is made of one or more of a bamboo material, a wooden material, a synthetic resin material, and a mixed wooden material, is fully or partially inserted into the inner space of a metallic main body.
