Abstract:
A metallurgical heating furnace is provided. The furnace is equipped with a lot of solid radiator barriers made of refractory material at the bottom and the roof of the furnace to hold up, lead and disturb the flow of furnace gas. There are holes, sags or grooves on heel blocks, which are filled with nonmetallic material or metal material with low melting point. The heel blocks are fixed on a lengthwise pipe feeding cooling water at the bottom and are arranged in a line or staggered into two lines. The interval between heel blocks is 40-500 mm. The exterior margin of heat-insulating layer between heel block and pipe is a slope. The invention optimizes the steel heating process and achieves smaller heating stamps. By changing the material of heel blocks, the invention decreases the consumption of metal material, reduces the investment of devices.
