Abstract:
An electric apparatus has a part (2001X) with a conductive layer located within a predetermined range in the depth direction. The conductive layer includes a region for electromagnetically shielding a specific region in the conductive layer from other regions. The electric apparatus is further provided with a metamaterial (2100X) which can exhibit a permittivity of less than 1 in absolute value and a permeability of more than 1 in absolute value, with respect to a predetermined resonance wavelength of the electromagnetic field. The metamaterial is arranged so that a cutoff region for cutting off near resonance wavelength components of a current flowing in the conductive layer is formed at a partition region for partitioning the specific region (2000X) of the conductive layer from the other regions. At least a part of the specific region can radiate electromagnetic waves. The specific region can be electromagnetically separated from the other regions.
