Disclosed are a metering precision checking apparatus and method for a coal conveying electronic belt scale of a circular stacker-reclaimer. The metering precision checking apparatus for the coal conveying electronic belt scale of the circular stacker-reclaimer comprises: a coal conveying assembly, comprising a belt scale, a driving wheel, and a driving motor, the belt scale being provided on the driving wheel, and the driving motor being connected to the driving wheel; and a coal collecting assembly, comprising a supporting column provided below the belt scale, a cantilever provided on the supporting column, and a coal falling cylinder suspended below the cantilever, a connecting member being provided on the coal falling cylinder, and a traction member being provided above the cantilever. Coal is collected by means of the coal falling cylinder convenient to be disassembled and assembled, so that errors caused by coal scattering are avoided, and the coal falling cylinder is convenient to be replaced under the conditions of damage and the like.
