Abstract:
The present invention provides a (meth)acrylic acid copolymer-containing composition which is able to sufficiently exhibit stability at low temperatures and calcium phosphate scale suppression ability at the same time.
The present invention is a (meth)acrylic acid copolymer-containing composition which contains a (meth)acrylic acid copolymer that has a structural unit (a) derived from a (meth)acrylic acid (salt) and a structural unit (b) derived from a sulfonic acid monomer (B), and which is characterized in that: the copolymer contains the structural unit (b) at a ratio of 5-90% by mole relative to 100% by mole of all structural units, and has a weight average molecular weight of from 4,500 to 18,000; and the composition has a concentration of a sulfur atom-containing inorganic component, which is not incorporated in the copolymer, of 6,000 ppm or less in terms of sulfur atoms.
