Abstract:
The present invention provides a methacrylic resin cast sheet which has excellent heat resistance and flame retardancy. The methacrylic resin cast sheet according to the present invention comprises a resin composition that contains an organic phosphorus compound (B) and a methacrylic resin (A) formed of a methyl methacrylate-(meth)acrylic acid copolymer, wherein the organic phosphorus compound (B) is represented by formula (I), the amount of the methyl methacrylate unit is 68-74 mass%, the amount of the (meth)acrylic acid unit is 6-9 mass%, and the amount of the organic phosphorus compound (B) is 19-24 mass%, with respect to the total amount of the methacrylic resin (A) and the organic phosphorus compound (B), and the resin composition does not contain a methyl methacrylate polymer which is not copolymerized with (meth)acrylic acid. (I): P(=O)(-O-R-X)3 (in the formula, R represents an alkylene group having 1-6 carbon atoms, and X represents a chlorine atom or a bromine atom).
