Abstract:
Provided are a methionine lyase and an encoding gene thereof, wherein the gene is isolated from Tuber melanosporum and the nucleotide sequence thereof is as shown in SEQ ID No. 1. Further provided is a method for efficiently biosynthesizing the methionine lyase. The purity of the recombinant methionine lyase prepared by the method reaches above 90%, and the efficiency of the methionine degradation is up to 0.53 ± 0.0030M MTL h-1 mg protein-1.
