Abstract:
A method for achieving position confirmation, a base station and a terminal. The method comprises: saving, by a user equipment, resident position information and time information; and when position information and time information broadcast from a network side are received, matching the saved position information and time information with same, and if matching, sending confirmation information to the network side. In the technical solution, by broadcasting the position information and time information from the network side, when the user equipment saves the resident position information and time information, matching is conducted, and the confirmation information by which the position information about the user equipment can be determined is sent; the confirmation information is applied to the processing of an alarm event, thereby improving the processing efficiency of the alarm event; and at the same time, by the application of the confirmation information about the user equipment, the resource costs of the alarm event in a processing process can be reduced.
