Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for acquiring system information, and a terminal device and a network device. The method comprises: a terminal device sending a first random access preamble to a network device; the terminal device receiving a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) sent by the network device, wherein the MAC PDU comprises at least one random access response (RAR); and the terminal device determining, according to the at least one RAR, system information to be sent by the network device.
