Abstract:
Disclosed are a method (400) for adjusting the backlight brightness of a television set by means of a box and a box (200) for adjusting the backlight brightness of a television set. The box comprises a user interface control module and a command sending module. The method (400) comprises: trigger, in response to an externally input signal, a user interface control module (S410); and a command sending module sends an adjusting command to a television set (S420). According to the method and box in embodiments of the present disclosure, the backlight brightness of a television set is adjusted by means of interaction between the box and the television set according to user demands.
