Abstract:
This electromagnetic wave detecting device is provided with: a first image forming unit which forms an image of electromagnetic waves incident from a detection target; a progression unit which has a reference surface and which causes electromagnetic waves incident on the reference surface from the first image forming unit to progress in a first direction; and a first detecting unit which detects the electromagnetic waves that have progressed in the first direction. The method for adjusting the electromagnetic wave detecting device includes: a changing step of changing an image forming distance between the first image forming unit and at least a portion of the reference surface; a detection step of using the first detecting unit to detect the electromagnetic waves that have progressed in the first direction with the changed image forming distance; a calculation step of calculating a determining value on the basis of the detection in the detection step; and an adjustment step of adjusting the positions of the first image forming unit and the progression unit on the basis of the image forming distance when the determining value is at least equal to a reference value.
