Title:
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING DEVICE AND SUPERCONDUCTIVE MAGNET EXCITATION DOCK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/143603
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for adjusting a magnetic resonance imaging device has: a cooling/excitation step in which a previously manufactured superconductive magnet is transported to an excitation facility different from a facility where to be installed and is temporarily installed and an excitation process in which the superconductive coil of the superconductive magnet is cooled by a cooling medium and is supplied with current from an external power supply is repeated until a predetermined rated current flows; a demagnetization/transportation step in which the superconductive coil excited by the rated current is once demagnetized and is transported, while being cooled by the cooling medium, to the facility where the superconductive magnet is to be installed; and an installation step in which the superconductive magnet is installed to the facility where to be installed and the superconductive coil is supplied with a predetermined rated current from an external power supply and excited.
