Abstract:
A method for adjusting the speed of a treadmill based on a fixed point distance comprises: recording preset belt slip speeds respectively matching different distances between a user and a specific point (S101); detecting a current distance between the user and the specific point (S102); and outputting a preset belt slip speed matching the distance between the user and the specific point according to the current distance between the user and the specific point (S103). Also provided is a treadmill using this method. According to the method, the speed of the treadmill can be adjusted in real time and dynamically by detecting the distance between the user and the specific point.
