Abstract:
A method for adjusting a water heater set-up based on a hand gesture, and a water heater, said method comprising: recording a water heater set-up preset by a user (S101); recording the matching relationship between the water heater set-up and a specific hand gesture (S102); reading hand gesture information inputted by a user (S103); detecting whether a water heater set-up matching said hand gesture information exists (S104); if not, then maintaining the state (S105); and if so, changing the current set-up to the water heater set-up matching the hand gesture (S106). By means of combining a water heater set-up with an individual hand gesture, different users can change the current water heater set-up on the basis of an individual hand gesture, in order to implement rapid switching of water heater set-up between different users.
