Abstract:
A method for aging dye-sensitized solar cells is characterized by having steps (I, II) to be performed in order. (I) A step for preparing a dye-sensitized solar cell having: a negative electrode comprising a metal-oxide film formed on a conductive substrate, and having a photosensitive dye adhered to the metal-oxide film; a positive electrode positioned so as to correspond to the negative electrode; and an electrolyte interposed therebetween the negative electrode and the positive electrode. (II) A step for subjecting the dye-sensitized solar cell obtained in step (I) to connection of an electrical load between the negative electrode and the positive electrode while irradiating with light, or application of a voltage between the negative electrode and the positive electrode while irradiating with light.
