Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for aligning colloidal particles as single crystals which comprises a step of rubbing colloidal particles on a substrate. According to the present invention, it is possible to mass manufacture a substrate-colloidal crystal film and easily manufacture colloidal crystal films of an equivalent quality. In addition, the method enables manufacturing colloidal crystal films of perfectly-aligned one dimensional, two dimensional, or three dimensional close packed and non-close packed structures. Furthermore, the method enables freely manufacturing complex colloidal crystal films of various compositions such as binary, ternary complex colloidal crystal films, or the like, of which spatial location is completely controlled.
