Abstract:
Provided is a method for allocating IP address of network element, which is used in a serving network element. The serving network element is used in a management domain network, the management domain network comprises a plurality of network elements, the plurality of network elements comprise at least one client network element and only one serving network element; the method comprises: receiving request information originating from a request network element and comprising an identifier of the request network element (S101); wherein, the request network element is a client network element, the request information is used to be forwarded by a flooding manner; according to a pre-stored address table, determining a target IP address of the request network element, and determining that the identifier and the target IP address of the request network element are stored in the address table (S102); wherein, the target IP address does not conflict with the existing IP address of the network element in the management domain network. The embodiment of the present disclosure also provides a method for determining IP address of network element, a network element, and a management domain network.
