Abstract:

A method for always on displaying, and an electronic device, which relate to the field of terminal technology, where always on displaying can be performed in concert with a use state of an electronic device, thereby allowing a power state of an electronic device to be more vibrantly and effectively transmitted to a user when in a screen off state, and making always on display content more up to date and interesting. The method comprises: an electronic device receives a screen off event; in response to the screen off event, the electronic device may enter into a screen off state; in the screen off state, the electronic device may display a first screen off animation in a first set of screen off animations according to power information and a charge state of the electronic device; once the first screen off animation has finished, if the electronic device detects a first touch operation input by a user, the electronic device may display a second screen off animation in the first set of screen off animations in response to the first touch operation.
