Title:
METHOD FOR AMPLIFYING CELL USING AMINO ACID PREPARATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/188994
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a functional cell from an undifferentiated organ cell with high efficiency and at low cost. A method for amplifying an undifferentiated liver cell, which comprises culturing the undifferentiated liver cell in the presence of a branched amino acid at a concentration of 1 mM or more. Also provided are: a method for inducing the differentiation into a liver cell; a method for preparing a liver cell; a method for selecting a cell that can be differentiated into a liver cell; a culture medium; a promoter for the proliferation of an undifferentiated liver cell; and an inducer of the differentiation into a liver cell.
