Abstract:
Provided is a method for analyzing inter-DNA interaction comprising: (1) a step for preparing a fragmented DNA by ultrasonication or by a partial decomposition process using an endonuclease without DNA sequence specificity, the DNA to be fragmented being in a condition in which the DNA to be analyzed and another DNA are interacting with each other; (2) a step for ligating the fragmented DNA; (3) a step for, from ligated DNA, amplifying and/or purifying a composite containing the DNA to be analyzed and the DNA interacting with said DNA; and (4) a step for analyzing interacting DNA in the amplified and/or purified composite. The method does not require costly equipment or special skills and can be easily implemented by any researcher. Furthermore, the method for analyzing inter DNA-interaction obtains highly reliable results and can be implemented without the use of a restriction enzyme.
