Title:
METHOD FOR ANALYZING MICROBIAL FLORA
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/262413
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a method that is for analyzing microbial flora and that comprises (1) a step for dissolving a probe that can non-specifically interact with a plurality of microorganisms in a plurality of solvents having different ion strengths and/or pH values, the probe including (a) a cationic polymer and (b) an environmentally responsive fluorophore; (2) a step for adding a sample to be analyzed containing microbial flora into the plurality of probe solutions prepared in step (1), resulting in non-specific interaction between the probe and the microorganisms in the sample to be analyzed; (3) a step for measuring fluorescence intensities of the plurality of probe solutions into which the sample to be analyzed has been added in step (2); and (4) a step for comparing a fluorescence intensity pattern obtained in step(3) with a fluorescence intensity pattern obtained for a reference sample.
