Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for acquiring a panorama image. The method comprises: acquiring a first fisheye image and a second fisheye image by means of two groups of imaging units placed oppositely; respectively tailoring the first fisheye image and the second fisheye image into images of a predetermined size; splicing the tailored first fisheye image and second fisheye image into a third fisheye image; and expanding the third fisheye image into a panorama image. In the method and apparatus for acquiring a panorama image provided in the embodiment, two fisheye images are collected by means of two oppositely placed imaging units, and are spliced to form a panorama image, so as to reduce the cost.
