Abstract:

Provided are a method and apparatus for acquiring and sending system information. The method for acquiring system information comprises: activating a function of detecting a first target beam under a pre-set trigger condition, wherein the first target beam is a beam bearing target system information and is transmitted, by a base station, to a sharing initiation device in response to a system information request sent by the sharing initiation device; detecting the first target beam prior to a pre-set state; and if the first target beam is received prior to the pre-set state, acquiring the target system information according to the first target beam. By means of the method for acquiring system information provided in the present disclosure, the time delay of acquiring target system information can be effectively reduced, and the utilization rate of air interface resources can be improved.
