Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for acquiring system information, wherein same facilitate solving the problem in the prior art of a high energy consumption overhead of a terminal device during the process of acquiring system information. The method comprises: a first terminal device sending system information to a second terminal device; and the second terminal device receiving the system information, wherein the system information is used by the second terminal device to communicate with a network device. The method facilitates reducing the energy consumption of the second terminal device during the process of acquiring system information, and meets the energy saving requirements of the second terminal device.
