Abstract:
The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus for adding a video effect, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a movement instruction; controlling a movement path of an animation object in a video picture on the basis of the movement instruction; on the basis of the movement path, determining an icon in the video picture that is captured by the animation object; and adding, to the video picture, a video effect corresponding to the icon. By means of the solution provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, a video effect added to a video picture can be controlled in a personalized manner on the basis of a movement instruction, thereby increasing the personalization and appeal of the addition of the video effect, and improving the user experience.
