Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for amplifying a display interface of a set-top box. The apparatus comprises: an activation module, a selection module, and an amplification module. After receiving a trigger signal, the activation module activates a magnifying-glass control in a display interface. The selection module selects, according to an operation command, content corresponding to the magnifying-glass control in the display interface. The amplification module amplifies the selected content in the display interface. Therefore, a user selects content in a display interface of a television by using a magnifying-glass control, and can clearly recognize fonts or icons that may be excessively small in part of the content in the display interface, in particular, it is helpful for some old users having poor eyesight, so that the user experience is further improved.
