Abstract:
A method for analyzing fluid in the periphery of a tire which controls against decreases in the quality of the computational grid in a fluid analysis model, thereby preventing accuracy deterioration and calculation failure, for any kind of groove deformation. This method for analyzing fluid includes: a step (ST100) for storing, in a memory 11, a tire finite element model M2 having a groove space element 30 disposed in a groove space enclosed by a groove wall face 21 forming a groove 20 which is formed on the tread; a step (ST101) for rotatively moving the tire finite element model M2 and calculating, by means of mathematical computation, deformations in the model originating in contact with a road surface; a step (ST102) for acquiring, from the result of computing deformations in the model, time-series data relating to the displacement of a node group (P1, P2) which includes all nodes P1 that constitute the exterior surface of the tire including the groove and at least a part of all nodes P2 that constitute the groove space element 30; and a step (ST203) for performing fluid analysis calculations wherein the physical quantity of fluid is calculated for each of the computational grids using a fluid analysis model wherein the space in the periphery of a tire is represented by a plurality of computational grids, while changing the position of the computational grid with the node group (P1, P2) in the time-series data as a control point.
