The present application relates to the technical field of network data exchange, and provides a method and an apparatus for automatically configuring an e-mail, and an electronic device. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining e-mail login information inputted by a user, the e-mail login information comprising a username and an e-mail suffix; extracting identification information in the e-mail login information, the identification information corresponding to unique e-mail configuration information; and obtaining the corresponding e-mail configuration information according to the identification information. According to the present application, the identification information of an e-mail can be automatically obtained according to e-mail login information inputted by a user, and the identification information uniquely corresponds to e-mail configuration information. Therefore, the correct e-mail configuration information can be automatically obtained according to the identification information, and thus, the user does not need to manually configure information, such as the server address and port.
