Abstract:
A method and apparatus for calibrating different types of sensors using a single checkerboard are disclosed. The disclosed method for calibrating different types of sensors comprises the steps of: generating internal parameters of a plurality of camera sensors, and a first coordinate transform vector between a sensor coordinate system of a LiDAR sensor and the camera sensors and a checkerboard coordinate system, by using a frame including a checkerboard, generated by the LiDAR sensor and the camera sensors; generating a second coordinate transform vector between a world coordinate system and the sensor coordinate system, and a third coordinate transform vector between the checkerboard coordinate system and the world coordinate system, by using the first coordinate transform vector; and updating the internal parameters, and the second and third coordinate transform vectors.
