Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for checking language settings of a television, comprising: acquiring an IP address of a television access network, and obtaining current geographic position information of a television corresponding to the IP address of the television access network; obtaining language information corresponding to the current geographic position information of the television according to the current geographic position information of the television; receiving language setting information input by a user; and when the language information corresponding to the current geographic position information of the television is inconsistent with language information set by the user, generating prompt information. Also disclosed are an apparatus for checking language settings of a television, and a television. The present invention avoids the problem that the television cannot be used normally due to the fact that a setting language input by the user is wrong.
