Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for configuring a guard period, wherein the method comprises: determining a target guard time duration value corresponding to a guard period; and when it is necessary to perform data burst transmission, sending target data corresponding to the data burst transmission to a receiving end in the Internet of Vehicles from a first time point, wherein the first time point is a time point at an interval of the target guard time duration value from a starting time point, and the starting time point is a time point when it is determined to perform the data burst transmission. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, a guard period is placed before the sending of target data, so that the number of effective symbols for data transmission in sub-frames can be increased by controlling a target guard time duration value corresponding to the guard period, thereby reducing the performance loss of an Internet-of-Vehicles terminal, and facilitating improvement of the overall performance of the Internet of Vehicles.
