Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for configuring a virtual network card rate. The method comprises: after a virtual machine is started, configuring, by means of an internal interface arranged in the virtual machine, an initial transmission rate of a virtual network card of the virtual machine, and storing the initial transmission rate in the virtual network card, wherein the internal interface is used for configuring a transmission rate of the virtual network card and allows communication with an external interface of a physical machine; and during the operating process of the virtual machine, if the transmission rate of the virtual network card needs to be modified, invoking the external interface to acquire a target transmission rate, and re-configuring, by means of the internal interface, the transmission rate of the virtual network card to be the target transmission rate.
