The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for constructing a virtual scenario, and an electronic device, a medium and a product. The method comprises: in response to a game starting event, displaying a first interface corresponding to a real scenario, wherein the first interface comprises a positioning icon; in response to the triggering of the positioning icon on the first interface, constructing, on the first interface, a virtual door for entering a virtual game scenario; and in response to the triggering of the virtual door, displaying the virtual game scenario. By means of responding to a game starting event triggered by a user, a virtual door for entering a virtual game scenario is constructed in the real world, such that the "crossing" between a scenario in the real world and a virtual scenario in a game world is realized, and the user can experience a game in an immersive manner; and the virtual game scenario is displayed in response to the triggering of the virtual door by the user, such that the user in the scenario in the real world can effectively experience the virtual scenario in the game world, the interestingness of the game is enhanced, and thus the entertainment experience of the user is improved.
