Abstract:

A wireless IC number tag (10) storing a container number (1a) is attached to a container (1), whereas a wireless IC document tag (14) storing physical distribution information on the container (1) is provided on a trailer (2). An antenna (11) is equipped on a container terminal gate. When a trailer (2) passes through the gate, the antenna (11) receives the physical distribution information sent from the wireless IC document tag (14), while the container number in the wireless IC number tag (10) attached to the container (1) is read and such information is sent to a physical distribution information center (31). A computer (31a) in the physical distribution information center (31) compares physical distribution information with the container number (1a), processes the information and sends the trailer (2) a signal indicating the address of storage through the antenna (11).
