Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling a dehumidifier, the dehumidifier, and a storage medium, relating to the technical field of intelligent household electrical appliances. The method comprises: detecting a presence state of a water tank (11) under the condition that the dehumidifier performs dehumidification; and under the condition that the water tank (11) is moved out of the dehumidifier, starting a heating apparatus (13) to heat a moisture-absorbing material (12). If the water tank (11) in the dehumidifier is moved out, condensate water generated subsequently can drop onto the moisture-absorbing material (12) for being absorbed, the moisture-absorbing material (12) can be heated by starting the heating apparatus (13), the condensate water absorbed by the moisture-absorbing material (12) is evaporated out, and the condensate water is treated in time. In this case, when the dehumidifier performs dehumidification and the water tank (11) is moved out, the condensate water can be prevented from dropping onto the floor on which the dehumidifier is located or the floor of a room, so that peculiar smell is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
