Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling and detecting a motor, a pan-tilt and a movable platform. The movable platform comprises a pan-tilt for mounting a load and a supporting mechanism for supporting the pan-tilt. The pan-tilt comprises a pan-tilt component and a motor. The motor is used to drive the pan-tilt component and the load to rotate about a preset axis. The motion state of the supporting mechanism is detected, and when the motion state indicates that the supporting mechanism continuously rotates in one direction, the motor is controlled to stop rotating, which may thus effectively avoid the serious problem of motor heating caused by the continuous rotation of the supporting mechanism. Moreover, since the continuous rotation of the supporting mechanism in one direction is not the motion expected by users, the effect of conserving power is also achieved.
